During check-in/check-out time, because of new faces coming in and everybody wanting to say "hi", the Kennel can get a bit noisy. As soon as everyone is in and settled, then the noise subsidizes and everyone quiets down. During your pet's stay it is rarely noisy, only when a new face comes to check-in/check-out is there any noise. We also play stereo music to help everyone stay calm and comfortable.
